Welcome Students!
The students' section of this Companion Website includes additional resources related to teaching reading with The Reader's Handbook. Included in this section are the following:
- Chapter Summaries: Summaries of each chapter are available by choosing a chapter number from the top pull-down menu and choosing "Summaries" from the left-hand menu.
- Quizzes: Quiz yourself as you complete each chapter by choosing the chapter number from the top pull-down menu and choosing "Quizzes" from the left-hand menu.
- Web Destinations: At the end of each chapter you will find exercises that require the use of the internet. These exercises also direct you to go to specific web sites. You will find these "Web Destinations" in both your textbook and on this Companion Website.
- Internet Exercises: Extend your learning by completing the internet activities that accompany each chapter. Like the web destinations, they require you to visit various web sites and complete related exercises.
