About the Authors

Evelyn Tribble is Associate Professor of English at Temple University. She is the author of Margins and Marginality: The Printed Page in Early Modern England and numerous articles about print culture. She teaches courses in Technologies of Writing, Print Culture to Cyberculture, Shakespeare, and Milton.
Anne Trubek is Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Composition and English at Oberlin College. Her research and teaching interests include histories, cultures and technologies of writing, authorship, visual culture studies and late nineteenth century American culture. She teaches courses on the technology of writing, composition theory and pedagogy and American literature.
