Choose one problem that you have some interest in exploring. It may be an issue you have been working with for a paper, a current event that has caught your attention, or a topic that has arisen in one of your other classes.
This activity contains 3 questions.
Write a short description of your problem, and then propose at least four possible solutions to that problem.
To create paragraphs in your essay response, type <p> at the beginning of the paragraph, and </p> at the end.
Search the Web for evidence disconfirming and confirming each of your hypotheses. Modify your hypotheses in response to the evidence you find. Then search again for evidence that both disconfirms and confirms the revised hypotheses. Note that the faster you can disconfirm a hypothesis, the faster your investigation will proceed.

Keep track of your investigation and how you re-shape your hypotheses in response to the evidence you uncover. Note what additional kinds of evidence you might pursue, both on and off the Web, to further test your hypotheses.
